Day Nursery Colchester

I’m Miss Stef, the nursery owner of Nature Barn Nursery. I have two daughters and am a massive animal lover!  As an experienced Nursery Manager and Area Manager, that has achieved a degree in Early Years Education, I wanted to create a nursery where it has a family feel and is an extension of children’s homes. A nursery where children will feel safe, loved and valued, and that empowers children’s learning. A nursery where parents do not have to wonder whether their child is being loved and cared for, or whether staff notice the ‘little’ things that are so important to us parents! Children will be cuddled when they’re upset, and praised when they have shown how amazing they are!  

Children’s early years is so short, so it’s vital that we get it right and create experiences that inspire children and create awe and wonder in their world. Watching children giggle, having fun, getting messy and growing in self-esteem and confidence is what I love about working with children, and believe this is what every nursery should provide and what every child deserves.
